About Cliona

Hello

My name is Cliona Vaughan and I am a qualified relational integrative counsellor.

I am passionate about helping people to accept and relate to themselves, others and the world in the fullest possible way.
I qualified as a relational integrative counsellor in 2010 when I completed the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited Postgraduate Diploma course at Newport University South Wales.

I also qualified as an online therapist with the Online Counselling Services & Training Programme (OCST) in 2014.

I have over 10 years experience of working with children, young people and adults, and I truly love what I do. I feel passionate about connecting and helping others find happiness and to reach their highest potential. I feel grateful for the process of sharing and I recognise the courage it takes to open up with others.

I have worked with MIND, Age Concern and in school settings with Place2Be, Caerphilly Council and Monmouthshire and Cwmbran youth services.

I am a member of the BACP and I abide by a strict code of ethics outlined by the BACP’s professional body.
I strive to keep up to date with current research and I attend regular training and CPD.
